Christy Moore has had to cancel his Christmas gigs due to a “severe lung infection.”
The singer was due to perform at Vicar Street in Dublin on December 29th and 30th.
It is believed that the gigs will be rescheduled for the New Year with tickets purchased remaining valid.
A statement from Aiken Promotions said: “Christy Moore will not perform his scheduled concerts at Vicar Street on 29th and 30th December due to an ongoing severe lung infection. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
