It’s been a big week for music announcements. First David Bowie unveiled a new single and then, yesterday, Trousersnake himself (that’s Justin Timberlake) posted a tweet telling his fans to visit his website at 5pm today. Suspicious right?
Now, if you’re anything like us chances are you were all excited and pretty much convinced that Justin would announce the release of a new single or a new album, something, anything because let’s face it, we’ve all been having withdrawals since FutureSex/LoveSounds was released.
So 5pm rolled around and what did we get? Well… we got the above video. A video that features Justin giving us something of a speech.
“I don’t want to put anything out that I feel is something I don’t love. You have to wait for it,” says Justin in the video.
However, there is hope as Justin then steps into a recording booth and says the magic words: “I’m ready.”
Fans have been told to revisit Justin’s website in three days’ time. We wonder what will happen then? Will there be a new song?!
