S Club 7 are the latest of the groups from the 90’s who are currently in talks about a possible reunion. The band are following in the footsteps of Atomic Kitten, Blue and Five who have found success as part of The Big Reunion on ITV2.
Rachel Stevens is the band member that has let the news slip, according to Digital Spy. The singer commented: “”We met up not long ago and we talked about it and we still are talking about it. We are all in the same head space, talking about how special it was and we do all want to celebrate what we had. So it’s definitely a possibility.”
The band were rumoured to be reuniting in 2011 but Hannah Spearritt subsequently rubbished the talk. Remaining band members Jo O’Meara, Paul Cattermole and Bradley McIntosh have been touring clubs and pubs in England under the name S Club 3.
The band had four number 1 singles in the early 1990’s and were hugely successful until Paul departed and the group changed their name to S Club.
We have two important questions. One. Will they bring the TV programme back and two, is it still awkward between Paul and Hannah?
