Hollywood actor Brendan Gleeson is to tour Ireland as a musician in the New Year.
Gleeson is in fact an accomplished fiddle player and will be touring Ireland with a trad group as part of Music Network’s 2014 line-up.
He’ll be performing gigs in various venues across the country which will be funded by the Arts Council.
The star will be performing with, banjo player Dirk Powell, uilleann piper Michael McGoldrick and guitarist Francis Gaffney for the January concerts.
