BBC DJ Taken Off Air After “A Couple Of Drinks”

We bet Paula White didn't expect her last day to be like this!

BBC Radio Stoke DJ Paula White was taken off the air when she appeared to have had one (or five) too many.

The presenter was only on the air for half an hour, on what was her last ever show for the station, when she was replaced by someone else according to Radio Fail.

And while she did admit during the broadcast that she had had “a couple of drinks” she insisted that she wasn’t drunk.

A BBC spokesperson said: “Paula White was unable to continue on-air yesterday as she was under par.

“Fortunately Den Siegertsz was on hand to take over the show and listeners were able to enjoy the usual lively mix of chat and local news.”
