And The Shortlist For The Choice Music Prize Is…

That's quite the list...

Last year proved to be another great year for Irish music yet again so with that in mind, the Choice Music Prize shortlist was always going to be interesting for this year.

The prize itself will guarantee the winner €10,000, a fund which is donated by the Irish Music Rights Organization and the Irish Recorded Music Association.

Many of the bands nominated will play the Choice Music Prize live show will take place in Dublin’s Vicar Street on February 27th. Tickets will be available on Ticketmaster. The winner will be announced on the night.

Speaking of winners, here are the acts which have been shortlisted for the prize and boy, there are some amazing acts in here.
