The lyrics of Adele’s song Hometown Glory have taken on a whole new poignancy.
The Hello singer paid a beautiful tribute to the Paris terrorist attacks this week at a show in New York.
The 27-year-old sang Hometown Glory as images of Paris lit up the giant screen behind her as the audience erupted in cheers.
At one point, the entire Radio City Music Hall was bathed in red, white and blue.
In the haunting rendition, she sings: “Shows that we ain’t gonna stand s**t. Shows that we are united. Shows that we ain’t gonna take it.
