Adele Working On New “Edgy” Sound for Next Album

The pop star clearly doesn't believe in the phrase if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Adele might have had one of the biggest-selling albums of all time but it seems the singer isn’t afraid to try something new.

The Skyfall star is apparently going for an edgier sound for her next album which she has already started working on.

Adele made a return to the spotlight with the Skyfall theme tune.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Adele wants to move with the times and is trying to make her new record sound as edgy as possible.”

They added that the Oscar winner, and new mum, is hoping to repeat her previous success: “The team she’s assembled is first rate and she’s confident they can help match the success of her first two albums.”

The singer has a lot to live up to what with the success of her last album 21.

Although they also made the point that the whole world will be very eager to hear what the chart-topper has to offer.

And while we will admit that we would usually be fans of the ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ approach, we have a feeling that Adele knows exactly what she’s doing.
