90s pop fans are going wild over mysterious Five band announcement

Sophie Collins

Fans of the iconic 90s boy band Five (5ive) are buzzing with excitement after a cryptic teaser this week

The British pop group took to TikTok to share a video of lyrics from their 1999 chart-topping single Keep On Movin’ scrolling across a massive electronic billboard.

The band was formed in 1997 and originally consisted of Ritchie Neville, Abz Love, Jason ‘J’ Brown, Scott Robinson, and Sean Conlon.

They achieved massive success, selling over 20 million records worldwide. However, in 2001, Conlon left the band just weeks after the release of their third album, Kingsize, before the remaining members ultimately split.

Their first comeback in 2006 saw them attempt to continue as a four-piece without Conlon, but it was short-lived.

A second revival attempt followed in 2012 as part of the reality show The Big Reunion, but this time Brown opted out due to privacy concerns.

The latest reunion teaser ended with a simple message: “27.02.25 Loading… itsfiveofficial.com,” on TikTok.

At the moment, the website only shows a sign-up form for updates, leaving fans wondering about what’s to come.

The video quickly went viral, with longtime supporters hoping for a full-fledged reunion.

“I didn’t realise how much I needed this until now!” one fan commented.

Another wrote: “If all five are back, I’m buzzing!”

Others begged for all of the original members to come back together, with one saying: “Don’t play with our feelings – if it’s not all five, we can’t handle the heartbreak!”

Some fans also noticed that the band’s members have “blacked out” their Instagram profiles.

Both Neville and Robinson have removed their posts, while Love’s profile picture is now a solid black image.
