A city in South Korea has introduced new wider parking spaces in an effort to make itself more ‘female friendly’.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government recently announced an ambitious $95 million plan to make the country’s capital safer, more comfortable and more welcoming for women. However, one part of the plan involved the introduction of “lady-friendly parking”, which will see the spaces painted pink with emblems of women in the centre”.
