Concertina Cruinnu, Miltown Malbay

From 13 – 15 February, then seaside town of Miltown Malbay in Co. Clare will play host to its third annual Concertina Cruinniu. A weekend of concertina classes, concerts and lectures, it’s the perfect place to learn from some of Ireland’s most talented trad musicians.

Dublin City Festival of Russian Culture

Traditional Russian music and dance, contemporary Russian cinema and informative exhibitions and lectures will be running across the capital as part of the Dublin City Festival of Russian Culture from 14 –  22 February. One of the highlights of the week promises to be The RTE National Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Prokofiev’s Symphony No.1 Classical at The National Concert Hall. Tickets are available at www.nch.ie
