Head to Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre for a special two-night only production of Giselle by one of the world’s leading ballet companies (26 and 27 January). You’ll marvel at the perfection of of its corps de ballet and stunning displays of grace and vitality from the dancers. This one’s a must for any trad lovers out there. From 28 January to 1 February, TradFest Temple Bar will be showcasing a fantastic spectrum of traditional and folk music in some of the capital’s most unique venues. With everyone from The Undertones to The Hot House Flowers performing, it’s sure to be a memorable few days of music.

Jason Byrne – The Pavilion Theatre
If you’re looking for a laugh this January, head to Dun Laoghaire’s Pavilion Theatre for a night of comedy with Jason Byrne. He’s in town for one night only (30 January) and tickets cost €21. They say that no two Jason Byrne shows are the same, so you’re sure to be in for a real treat!
