All students are then asked to sign a ‘contract’ promising to protect the sorority and its secrets.
The student, only referred to as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, is now facing legal action for her blog post ‘stepscloser’, after Phi Sigma Sigma failed to have the post removed by site administrators.
According to The Seattle Post, the sorority has now subpoenaed the web records for the site which originally hosted the post, to track down the member to begin legal proceedings for breach of contract.
If the civil suit proceeds, the case will go to trial next May.Life
