Oh, Frankie Boyle’s been bold before…
But this time nothing held him back.
The controversial comedian had an three-day Twitter row with X Factor finalist James Arthur.
The solo singer, 24, hit back after getting fed-up of reading the 40-year-old Scot's offensive tweets about him and the ITV show.
After Frankie likened him to a 'tramp', James tweeted: “Poor old man making yet more s**t jokes about X Factor because he knows that's the only way he can get attention any more #prat.”
But it was just fuel to the fire as Frankie was quick to fire back: “I think if I wanted attention I'd sing covers on a talent show, inked up like a schooldesk in a remedial class.”
Oh, that was it!
Soon the pair were battling with each other in a tit-for-tat argument on the micro-blogging site.
Frankie pulled up James on his spelling mistakes, replying: '"apposed"? I hope you didn't spell your own tattoos. I also hope Simon's (Cowell) demonic j**z boils through your vocal cords.'
Unimpressed with Frankie's crude reply involving X Factor boss Cowell, James wrote: “Your about as funny as aids.. Your a sad man and I can't wait to see you coz it's about time someone gave you a reality check [sic].”
Frankie even continued the argument into yesterday, phew, by hitting out at James's looks: “James Arthur looks like someone put a sheep's teeth into a baby's head #Xfactor...”
Oh, harsh.
Who started it? Frankie, of course.
Want to see it? Of course you do...
