You and your dog can now have matching BFF necklaces and yes, this is the news we needed

In the '90s and '00s, friendship bracelets (or necklaces, even) were the ultimate way to show how much your BFF meant to you.

And while you may have shared one half of a heart-shaped pendant with your childhood best pal, a Canadian shop has come up with an adorable way to celebrate your friendship with your furry friend. Yes, that's right: we're talking about a matching BFF necklace with your dog (or cat). Toronto-based SlashPile Designs has created a range of Pet-Human Best Friends neckless, including two designs for your lovable pooch.   The first set features a bone-shaped pendant on a delicate sterling silver chain for the human; while the dog's part has a silver collar tag with a bone silhouette cut out from it. Meanwhile, the second one features a heart-shaped pendant on a chain with the same shape cut out of the silver collar tag. The description for the necklaces reads:

"Is your dog your BFF? Why not express that bond with an extra special matching necklace set that fits together.

"The jump rings on both pieces are soldered closed for extra security, so they won't open during playtime. Round dog collar tag is 1" in diameter and the heart pendant is about 3/8" wide. The necklace comes on an 18" chain. "The pieces are saw-pierced, and each set may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of the technique."

There's also a design if you want to celebrate your friendship with your feline friend - but with a cat heard silhouette on the chain. According to the shop, the round cat pendants are 3/4" in diameter and the cat head silhouette is about 1/2" wide. The necklace comes on an 18" chain.
