Thankfully no one in the Her Towers suffers from a fear of flying. However we’ve all been guilty of grasping onto the armrests, sinking our heads back into the chair and closing our eyes to have our life flash before us when the turbulence warning sounds… Dramatic? Us?! NEVER!
There’s something about being inside an aluminium shell thousands of feet above the ground that leaves us a little uneasy.
This footage captured at Birmingham Airport shows the tough job pilots have when battling crosswinds.
Our fancy dress pilot caps are off to Aer Lingus and the others that didn’t exactly have a smooth landing due to ‘gusts and windshear’.
As our brothers over at JOE.ie said, we’d be needing a stiff drink after disembarking from this flight.
