The vast majority of us don’t like being called “cute” or “hot” or having any random words said to us by strange men in public.
It’s unnecessary and they should stop immediately.
However, catcalling happens literally all of the time and there are a number of things a woman can do in response to it.
Ignore it.

While some have been critical of Amanda’s tactic, there is no doubt that she used the situation to her advantage and ultimately left more powerful than the lad who decided to call her cute.
Because she got a full tank.
Despite the woman’s viral tweet, some lads are (of course) adamant that they would never buy a woman a full tank just because she’s cute.

Interestingly enough, these guys didn’t think to say that they would never call a random girl “cute” at a petrol station because it’s weird as hell but sure look.
This is the life we lead.
And if hustling creepy dudes out of full tanks of petrol is an option for some women, we can only say fair play.
