One Dubliner took the Leap Year tradition in her stride this morning, by deciding to propose to her partner live on radio.
Listeners to the 98FM Big Breakfast show heard how Sinead Delaney had always wanted to propose on a Leap Year, but this year decided it was time to make an honest man of her partner of eight years, Darren.
After winning a €2,500 diamond ring from The Dublin Diamond Factory, listeners heard how Sinead met her partner on Anotherfriend.com eight years ago, moved in with him just three months later and had a son who is now five.
Being the brave lady she is, Sinead decided to pop the question on air… and thankfully Darren said yes!
