A woman apparently decided to fake her own death in order to get out of a date with a man she met online.
Ann-Marie Gray from Somerset had been seeing a guy but decided after a few dates that she didn’t want to take things any further.
She told The Mirror: “I called it a night and decided that I never wanted to see him again. Luckily, he didn’t live in my town.”
Even after she told him that it “wasn’t working”, he didn’t get the message, which led her to take some rather drastic action.
When he suggested organising another outing together, she pretended to be her sister (we don’t even know if she actually has a sister) and responded to his text.
She told him that Ann-Marie had been admitted to hospital. He then said he would visit her at the hospital at which point she delivered a final blow.
(Please note, we’re not entirely convinced of the authenticity of this and have a lot of questions* but we wouldn’t be surprised if it did turn out to be true.)
*Is it reasonable he would have cared so much to visit her? How did he know which hospital to go to? WHO ON EARTH DOES THIS?
