Woman Files For Divorce Because Hubby Won’t Re-Enact Scenes From Fifty Shades of Grey

A woman has filed for divorce from her husband because he flat-out refused to take part in her Fifty Shades of Grey fantasies...

Over the past few months, we’ve all heard stories of the impact that raunchy read Fifty Shades of Grey can have on your love life. However, we imagine this particular husband was left stunned when his wife actually filed for divorce after reading the book.

Yes, the Daily Mail reports today that a high-powered city banker has filed for divorce from her husband because he refused to recreate scenes from the BDSM-based novel with her.

The woman was reportedly inspired by E.L James’ naughty novel and decided that she wanted to take ideas from the book and re-enact them with her own husband in a bid to spice up their sex life. But her husband wasn’t comfortable with the idea and flat-out refused to get all “Christian Grey” in the bedroom.

The case, which was filed at a High Court, saw the woman referring to the book and arguing that her husband’s lack of adventure and his “boring attitude to sex” was evidence of “unreasonable behaviour” and as such, it was the grounds for a divorce.

The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy by E.L James is being blamed for ruining this relationship

According to the woman’s lawyer, Amanda McAlister, this is the first case where the infamous dirty book has been cited as one of the main reasons for a divorce.

“There has been a real shift in sexual attitudes. It used to be the men who complained they weren’t getting enough nookie in the bedroom. But now, it’s the women who are calling their husbands boring after reading books like Fifty Shades,” said Ms McAlister.

Even more hilariously, the woman’s husband (who is blaming the book for ruining his marriage) has admitted to “unreasonable behaviour” just so the divorce can be settled without a contested hearing where his lack of adventurousness in the bedroom may be discussed in a courtroom.

Eh, we can’t say we blame him for that move…
