We can’t imagine living to celebrate our 100th birthday but if we do manage it, we sincerely hope someone fulfils our birthday wishes like this next lady.
If this birthday request is anything to go by, Trudy Price is a woman of simple pleasures.
The Ohio woman didn’t ask for much when marking her 100 years on earth, all she wanted was a little help doing some gardening.
Price’s only wish for her birthday was to be at one with nature and do some “yard work” and thanks to the folk at nearby Bowling Green State University her simple wish was granted.
Century-old Price, who revealed that she always loved the smell of freshly cut grass, was invited to the student’s campus where she helped plant flowers and much to her delight had her first experience with a ride-on lawn mower.
Price believes that staying active is an important factor in order to lead happy and healthy life, we’re not going to argue with that.
