Will Poulter Cast as Pennywise The Clown in Adaptation Of Stephen King’s IT

British actor Will Poulter will take on the role of Pennywise the Clown in the upcoming screen adaptation of Stephen King's It. According to Variety, the 22-year-old We're The Millers star blew movie execs away with his audition. In particular True Detective's Cary Fukunaga, who will direct the two-part adaptation for New Line. Poulter also recently starred in The Maze Runner. Horror master Stephen King's website outlines 1986 novel It:   A promise made twenty-eight years ago calls seven adults to reunite in Derry, Maine, where as teenagers they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children. Unsure that their Losers Club had vanquished the creature all those years ago, the seven had vowed to return to Derry if IT should ever reappear.
