Who Will Have The Final Say? Singer To Appear On Late Late Show Tonight

This promises to be good, Sinead Vs Miley continues...

Sinead O’Connor is rumoured to be joining Ryan Tubridy on tonight’s Late Late Show. The appearance comes following the ongoing and very public debacle with pop starlet, Miley Cyrus.

The Irish singer penned an open letter to Cyrus earlier in the week, after the star revealed in an interview with the Rolling Stones, that O’Connor’s phenomenal hit, ‘Nothing Compares To You’, was the inspiration behind the music video for her latest single, ‘Wreckingball’.

O’Connor addressed the 20-year-old’s recent controversial image, writing, “you have enough talent that you don’t need to let the music business make a prostitute of you” urging Cyrus to send a healthier message to her peers.

The public spat has been making headlines both sides of the water, after Miley responded to the letter on Twitter, distastefully mentioning Amanda Bynes, and mocking O’Connor’s mental health problems.

Cyrus posted this picture of the singer tearing up an image of Pope John Paul II live on the US show SNL in 1992.

O’Connor has penned a further two letters to Cyrus, the second responding to the slur at her mental state, and the third to threaten legal action.

RTÉ are yet to confirm O’Connor’s appearance, however did post this message on their website.
