The actor was spotted looked in good spirits last night at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in California, although the fact that he won Best Director and Argo took home the award for Best Film probably helped.

In fact he even went so far as to joke about the whole thing during his acceptance speech: “I would like to thank the Academy. I’m kidding, I’m kidding. This is the one that counts. No, I do want to thank the Broadcast Film Critics Association.”
