What A Beauty: Researchers Caught This Little Colourful Guy On Camera For The First Time Ever

The University of British Columbia’s Project Seahorse spotted the little-known seahorse species and the footage was released today by the Zoological Society of London. The West African seahorse (Hippocampus algiricus) can be seen bobbing in the rough waters off the coast of Senegal. The seahorse was spotted whilst researchers were carrying out investigations into West Africa's growing seahorse trade which exports them for use in Chinese medicine.
