We’re Hiring! Maximum Media is Now Recruiting Journalists for HerFamily.ie

It's an exciting time in Her.ie Towers! 

Our sister site HerFamily.ie will launch this October, and we’re happily searching for two full-time journalists, one part-time journalist and an intern* to join the HerFamily.ie team in preparation for go-live.

As a new go-to destination online, HerFamily.ie will bring readers fresh, engaging, fun and educational content relevant to the lives of modern Irish parents.

HerFamily.ie is the latest title in the Maximum Media family, and will leverage the existing reach of Her.ie and JOE.ie to build a large and truly engaged audience from the outset.

Maximum Media’s existing sites currently boast a combined social media audience in excess of 600,000, and HerFamily.ie has already garnered more than 30,000 social media engagements - and that’s six weeks before launch!

Working at HerFamily.ie is an exciting opportunity for journalists who want to challenge themselves in a fast-paced and vibrant environment. Got a nose for the stories Irish parents will want to read and share? Love food, fashion and beauty too? Consider joining HerFamily.ie.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Two years’+ media experience (preferably in digital or print)

• A Journalism, Communications or Arts qualification

• A creative attitude, with imaginative ideas to burn

• A wide interest in women’s issues: parenting a priority, with fashion, lifestyle and health close runners-up

• Excellent writing abilities, and a flair for compelling visual content

• A proven track record of working well in a team, and multi-tasking under time constraints

• A keen interest in the online space, and what works in digital

• A demonstrable interest in the social media landscape, including Facebook, Twitter and blogging

• Experience in multimedia (audio, video, graphics) would also be advantageous

• An energy and eagerness to embrace all things digital and to be ahead of the curve on how stories are now shared

• An enthusiasm to represent HerFamily.ie on radio, television and beyond
