Nailed It
Getting your nails to grown can be a difficult task and Cathy has tried pretty much every product on the planet. However, she came across the Nails Inc bar in Debenhams at the weekend and their new Kale range promises great things. While Cathy had heard about eating superfoods, superfood for nails is definitely a new concept. The brand's Alexa range has plenty of gorgeous colours too, roll on party season!
Snacking on Schnitzel
Liz is counting down the hours to this weekend, as she’s jetting off for some fun in Berlin. Catching up with two college friends, she knows the Germans won’t be expecting the echoes of laughter when the trio have a chance to reunite on Unter den Linden. From Checkpoint Charlie to snacking on schnitzel she can’t wait to explore the sights and sounds of a new city for the weekend. And because she loves all things food and cocktail related, all suggestions for pubs, clubs and brunch spots are very welcome!
Spooky Sweets
Our pals at M&S sent us in some Halloween treats this week. No, we won't share. No, there are none left.
Five Star Service
Michelle and Rebecca received a fabulous delivery this week from Dublin's divine Westbury Hotel. They're celebrating 30 years of luxury in the landmark building near the capital's bustling Grafton Street. As part of the celebrations, guests are set to be offered a host of unique packages and bespoke experiences to mark the occasion. We'll see you there.
It Started With Paris
Rebecca has had her head buried in Cathy Kelly’s new novel It Started With Paris this week. She loved her last book, The Honey Queen, and is thoroughly enjoying the Irish author’s latest offering which is a romantic drama with lots of interesting characters and intertwining stories. The only problem she has is putting it down!
Come Fly With Me
Marie is never happier than when she is walking into Departures at Dublin Airport, ready for another adventure. This week, she enjoyed a flying visit to Hamburg to catch up with some old friends and has made an early New Year's Resolution to fit in as many trips as possible in 2015. Now, where's that piggy bank...
Gorgeous George
This week Grace took a trip to Dublin's Academy to watch her old pal, George Ezra, kick off his European tour. Ezra, who is currently the biggest selling artist in the UK with his phenomenal debut album 'Wanted On Voyage' charting at no.1, performed hit after hit to an adoring crowd. She's always been a huge fan but Grace's standout moment was the closing two tracks - hearing Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' sang by a bluesy vocalist and witnessing 'Did You Hear The Rain' live was something very special. We're not jealous at all!
And A Little More George Speaking of George, we're also loving the fact that the 21-year-old's recording for The Sunday Sessions has surpassed 50,000 views in just two months. Watch him before current hit, Blame It On Me, for us below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mVCe0VeFIgLoadingThis guy... This is one of the most beautiful hotels in all of Ireland and you need to visit this summer
This is one of the most beautiful hotels in the country There’s no denying that Ireland is one of the most beautiful places in the world, even more so during the summer months. I’m hoping to spend more time in Ireland this summer rather than heading abroad, and there’s one hotel I’m itching to visit […]

‘I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake’
I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake Let’s be honest, most of us are at least a little bit nosy when it comes to money. We want to know what other people are earning, how they’re actually getting by, and what their spending really looks like (not the […]
