Christmas lights and romantic strolls…
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas what with the festive lights being switched on in the capital on Thursday evening. As much as Grace loves fancy dress and Halloween, her favourite thing every year is Christmas and the decorations. Although she isn’t rushing just yet to put up her tree at home, she does look forward to strolls down Grafton Street under thousands of flickering lights. (So romantic, it’s such a shame she has to do it alone).
Sales! Sales! Sales!
Cathy is slowly starting to give in to the Christmas spirit that’s gathering around Dublin city. Intent on sourcing family Christmas presents she’s gearing up for the Kilkenny Shop sale which is taking place at the moment and she just might pick herself up an Alex & Ani bangle while she’s there. Obsessed is our Cathy…
For the players
Úna was very excited to see this invite to the launch of the PS4 waiting for her on her desk this week and can’t wait to head to the launch.Though she’s played a fair lot of xbox games, she’s definitely a Playstation girl at heart.
Manicures and massages
This week the Her.ie office was treated to manicures and back massages courtesy of Vaseline Skin School. In fact, they were so relaxed after getting them done, it took them a while to get going afterwards!
Jumpers
Nothing beats a good jumper in the words of Rebecca, especially one that reminds her (and everyone else) that she is going skiing in the New Year and goes perfectly with her new wine-coloured snood.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
This week, Sue’s obsession with Joseph Gordon-Levitt spun out of control when she caught his new film Don Jon on the big screen. She’s not annoyed at all that Eoghan from JOE.ie got to interview the lovely Joseph last week. Not jealous at all.
Feeding our chocolate addiction
Cadbury’s made Cathy very happy this week when they sent in some chocolate supplies. The emergency supply in the Her.ie office was running very low so the delivery was much appreciated. Everyone loves a Freddo bar…
Oven mitts at the ready!
A special delivery of a Dr. Oetker Hamper arrived in office for Úna this week and now she’s sorted for Christmas! A huge thank you to Natalia at Walsh PR for sending the lovely box of treats in – she’ll be baking like there’s no tomorrow. Who knows, maybe some of the baked goodies might make it into office?!
Winter jewellery
She already has more jewellery than she could ever want (or wear) but that hasn’t stopped Rebecca from picking out a few pieces in the new Chupi winter jewellery collection. In particular she has her heart set on these feather earrings.
Holidays (more specifically holidays to Disneyland)
Sue has decided to abandon us all this week for a trip to Disneyland which is most excited about… Mainly because she wants to shout “ANDY’S COMING” at some toys and make them fall down.
