These are a few of our favourite things… this week at least.
Lancôme Lip Lover
This week Her.ie got to enjoy a lovely breakfast in Clodagh's Kitchen at Arnotts for the launch of the luscious new Lip Lover range from our beauty favourites, Lancôme. Sipping tea from quaint china cups and gorging on tasty treats, with the added bonus of heading away with a gorgeous gift bag (and pink rose), we will be giving plenty of kisses away this weekend!
We (really do) Love Laser
This week
Grace headed for a day out in Dun Laoghaire for the very first time, (she doesn't get out much). Her trip was not for a cone from Teddy's but to meet the lovely girls from We Love Laser for a luxury treatment that gives the famous faces in Hollywood their glamourous glow. Stay tuned for a review of the exclusive Intraceuticals treatment, Grace is looking her very best.
Dance ‘Til Dawn
A few weeks after meeting her favourite dancing duo,
Strictly Come Dancing fan Rebecca and her mum headed along to see Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace’s new show
Dance ‘Til Dawn at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Filled with incredible routines, great songs and plenty of laughs, it’s not to be missed!
Super Bee-sy
This week Úna came across the
BUMBLEance, the interactive children's ambulance organised by
Bee for Battens founder Tony Heffernan. The special ambulance service, design to be like a bee, aims to make every child's trip a memorable and more positive one with the capacity to operate the latest medical equipment and inter hospital communication systems.
The ambulance comes complete with a Dune media player, 19 inch TV , PS3 and iPad mini, Tablet, toys and games to keep the young ones entertained throughout the journey!
Cake!
The Her.ie office was treated to a delicious chocolate cake this week, to mark Hunter PR's fifth birthday. Let's just say, there's only crumbs left...
Musical Mondays
Marie started the week on a great note by popping down to the Olympia Theatre to see American singer John Grant. Having waited for the gig for six months, she was delighted to finally see the
Pale Green Ghosts singer live and guest appearances from Sinead O'Connor and
Villagers' Conor O'Brien certainly made it a night to remember. Check out her review of the gig
here.
Fashion Frenzy
BT2 Pop Icons launched at the BT2 Grafton Street store on Wednesday and
Cathy was in-store on the day, hosting giveaways and live tweeting. Surrounded by fresh and modern labels such as Proenza Schouler and Isabel Marant, made her a very happy camper. Just look at this Acne Studios jacket... SWOON.
DISNEY! DISNEY DAY! DISNEY!
This week, Sue went along to probably the greatest day that exists; Disney Day. Basically, starting at about 12pm, Disney show two films, bring you for lunch and dinner and show you all of the brilliant projects that are coming up this year and for next year. She can assure you, it's all pretty exciting. Oh, and this is her new friend.
JOHN TRAVOLTA - THE GIFT THAT KEEPS GIVING!
Something always goes wrong at the Oscars but this year, John Travolta's mistake was the talk of Tinseltown. We have had way too much fun with this pronunciation this week, but it is the gift that keeps giving. Sure, have a laugh. It's Friday.
