Australian Jordy Hurdes has taken to Facebook to share a warning about the effects of “party drugs”. Jordy was hospitalised following the use of ecstasy, which he called the “cheaper option”.
The video shows Jordy sharing is story. He tells viewers that he was involved in the party scene and used ecstasy also known as pingers. The effects of the drug use have left him with a violent stutter and jerking. Doctors are amazed that Jordy is alive and are unsure as to whether the damage is permanent.
Jordy says what all seems like fun and games, ultimately isn’t worth it. He urges viewers to be strong and say no to drugs. By the end of the 3 minute video, Jordy is evidently exhausted and says its due to the constant muscle spasms.
Jordy before his reaction to “pingers”
The clip was shown on 7 News Australia, who later interviewed Jordy. The interview reveals Jordy had been using the drug for almost a year; believing it was safe and just cheaper than alcohol. It was one bad pill that led to Jordy’s reaction. Doctors are unsure as to whether the symptoms are a result of brain damage or nerve damage.
Thank you so much for the love and support from everyone. I honestly can not believe how much the post has gone viral. Please share this video. The more that can see this. The more lives can be saved
