WARNING: This video may possibly be the most uncomfortable few minutes of your life.

We thought we’d witnessed the cringiest proposal of all during the week, when a couple reenacted a scene from Frozen to signify their love for one another, until now that is.

Prepare yourself folks because Christina Perri’s track ‘A Thousand Years’ is just about to be spoiled forever.

30-year-old hopeless romantic, Adam Hewson, surprised his girlfriend, Harriet Scott, at a The Church Bar in Northampton when he rallied in the troops, a.k.a. their entire family circle and friends, to help him propose.

The flashmob sang the 23-year-old’s favourite song and after the fairly uncomfortable four-and-a-half-minute-long performance, Hewson got the answer he was hoping for.

Would we have said yes? Not in a thousand years… We’re kidding, we’re just bitter that no one has asked us yet! *Hint, hint lads!*

Someone pass the bucket… of confetti, obviously.
