When Daniel Pearce released the shocking video of his parent’s reaction to the news that he was gay, the Internet responded beautifully.
The 19-year-old’s video quickly went viral and as a result a funding page was set up to help with living costs, (which can be found here).
YouTuber Chris Thompson’s was so moved by the piece that he decided to ask his viewers about a very pressing question.
“I have a lot of LGBTQ people following this channel and on social media. So I ask them the question, ‘If you could choose to be gay or straight, what would you choose?’”
The response to his question was phenomenal and Thompson shared the results via one powerful video.
