That’s one beautiful backdrop. Former Rose of Tralee Haley O’Connor got engaged last week with a stunning proposal on a cliff in Santorini, Greece. Texas girl Haley, who won the Rose of Tralee back in 2013, said yes to her partner Davey Devlin's proposal and with a romantic setting such as that, we can’t say blame her. The Monaghan man even managed to trick her into thinking the cameras were on hand in order to film a promotional project. “As I looked out over the stunning water, my gaze was directed toward two people holding a banner with the proposal printed on it,” she explained. “Looking back towards Davey, I saw him on one knee holding up a ring asking me to spend the rest of my life with him,” she continued, adding that it was “one of the best surprises of my life”.
