Having contacted physical therapists and undergoing months of private sessions, Heather’s father Ralph wanted to surprise his daughter on her big day by stepping out of his wheelchair and making his way down the aisle in front of the congregation. Ralph, who has been battling leukemia, kept his hard work and planning to himself – and it’s rare to see such an emotive response caught on camera.
