If you’re just about to head on your lunchbreak, you might not want to read this. A woman in America got a major shock when she found something seriously unexpected in a can of green beans.
Digital Spy reports that Gloria Chubb, from Indiana, was busy making dinner for her and her son when she discovered the nasty surprise in the tin of beans. What did she find? Take a look at this…
Why yes, yes that is a dead toad.
Speaking to WBND/CNN Gloria said that it was her son who first noticed the creature when she took the beans out of the microwave.
“My son put some on his plate and said, ‘What is that?’” said Gloria.
“I had it in my hand because I was trying to figure out what it was. It was a toad with parts of his little legs all in the green beans, other than that he was fully intact,” she added.
Both Gloria and her son were left seriously nauseous for two days after they found the toad and, understandably, the experience has turned them off green beans for the foreseeable future.
“We eat a lot of green beans. We do. We did. Nobody wants any more now,” said Gloria.
Cloria was given a refund by the store she bought the beans from and an extra $50 from the canning company. According to reports, the Indiana State Department of Health is now investigating how the toad managed to get into the tinned beans in the first place.
Yeah. We think finding something like that in our beans would put us off them too.
