Warning Issued To Users of Android Phones Due To Security Flaw

Uh oh… A warning has been issued to Android phone users this week as it has been revealed that a security flaw in the software may in fact enable hackers to access the device. According to cybersecurity firm Zimperium, hackers can gain easy access to the Android operating system once they know the number of the phone. Google are currently working to rectify the problem which is based within the ‘Hangouts’ apps. The app is able to save videos and photos, thereby allowing hackers to send videos to the device and later gain access to it. “This happens even before the sound that you’ve received a message has even occurred,” explained a security researcher at the firm to NPR. “That’s what makes it so dangerous.
