You may have noticed a splash of pink dotted among the green on your country road trip this week.
That’s because Dairygold Co-Op has joined forces with the Irish Cancer Society in a new initiative called “Wrap it Pink”.
The campaign will see fields around the country feature a new bright colour as farmers use pink wrap to bale their silage.
The aim of the initiative is to raise cancer awareness in rural Ireland as well as raising much needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
The Irish made wrap is available through Dairygold Co-Op Superstores and for every bale of wrap purchased, a donation will be made to the Irish Cancer Society.
The Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, Co. Limerick decided to join in and “Wrap it Pink” and have created a beautiful video using a drone.
Huge thanks to Paraic O’hEaghtairne for sending this our way.
