Margaret “Muffi” Lavigne and Chris Plum met and fell in love at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, Connecticut.
“Everybody wants the one. I did not expect to find it here of all places” says Margaret in the video below. “I realized all the suffering in the hospital led up to me meeting her,” adds Chris.
Both Margaret and Chris have muscular dystrophy and their touching love story was filmed for a New York Times documentary.
