Any fan of GAA will tell you that Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final between Galway and Tipperary was the stuff hurling dreams are made of.
With both sides leaving blood, sweat and tears on the pitch, it was a battle for the ages and a challenge for the nerves.
Thrilling as it was for the neutrals, the day left Tipperary fans heartbroken to lose by the narrowest of margins, and Galway fans euphoric to finally snatch their deserved victory in the dying seconds.
Blood pressure soared in homes across the west as the final whistle approached – and Linda Cumiskey knows all about it.
