Good news sci-fi fans, NBC will be bringing back its sci-fi series “Heroes” next year.
Titled Heroes Reborn, the new drama will take the form of a mini-series and is expected to run for 13 episodes.
NBC also plans to launch a special digital series to introduce the new plot and the characters.
Though Heroes Reborn will be featuring a new group of heroes, “we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in,” NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said.

The original series ran from 2006 – 2010. Let’s just hope that they don’t do another episode like the one where they ended up in Ireland… Cringe.
