If last weekend’s auditions are anything to go by, we might be looking forward to seeing Robert Pattinson in the X Factor audience this year!
Lizzy Pattinson, the older sister of the Twilight star, showed off her vocal talents in a brief clip aired on last weekend’s shows. Though her family connection to fame has been well-reported in advance of this season’s shows, no reference to Lizzy’s younger brother made it to air.
For her audition, Lizzy took on Bonnie Raitt‘s Feels Like Home, which features on the How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days soundtrack.
The 31-year-old, who works as a personal assistant, barely managed a few lines of the song before Simon Cowell stopped her in her tracks and invited all four judges to vote. Lizzy made it through to the next round with a unanimous yes from Cowell, Cheryl, Mel B and Louis Walsh.
Speaking before the scenes aired, Robert, 28, said: “I’m like, so ridiculously proud of her.”
“I would never have the balls to do that, ever, in a million years. I can’t believe she’s done it. So, it’s amazing.”
