A myth around McDonald's Chicken Mc Nuggets circulated in 2010 after a very disturbing image of "pink goop" began to do the rounds online.
In an attempt to dispel the rumours and set the record straight, McDonald's Canada produced this video to show customers just exactly what goes in to making their nuggets.
According to this video, chicken breasts are deboned and the meat is ground. Spices are added in with some chicken skin for flavour. The mixture of chicken goo is cut into shapes, which is then coated in a light and thick tempura batter. After they are partially fried before being bagged, boxed and frozen for shipping.
Chicken McNuggets, anyone?
