Simon used the Golden Buzzer. Enough said.

The ninth series of Britain’s Got Talent started last night and there was one audition which stood out for all the right reasons.

Recruitment officer Calum Scott was noticeably nervous as he stood in front of the judging panel but this didn’t show in his performance.

Singing Robyn’s Dancing On My Own, Calum had half the audience in tears and judges David, Alesha, Amanda and Simon swapping looks of surprise.

Resident Mr Nasty, Simon Cowell, was first to stand and used his Golden Buzzer, a sure sign that Calum is the contestant to beat.

The music mogul gave him high praise saying: “I’ve never ever in all the years that I’ve done this show, heard a guy with the talent you’ve got.

“The version was sensational. You’re more than a singer, you’re an artist.”

Also brother and sister rollerskating duo Emily and Billy had everyone freaking out.

Have a look at the below video, although you might have to cover your eyes in places.
