Tennis players are usually the centre of attention and can lose their cool when their match is interrupted by shouts from the audience.
But this week Novak Djokovic couldn’t help but smile and applaud when his game was interrupted by a marriage proposal in the audience.
One brave tennis fan decided to pop the question to his other half during a break in the match at the Rod Laver Arena.
Thankfully she said yes and those on court didn’t seem too bothered to be overshadowed (albeit for only a few minutes).
Then again, Djokovic did sail through said match against Fernando Verdasco in straight sets: 7-6 (10-8), 6-3, 6-4.
