Angelina Jolie was in London yesterday to speak at a four-day Global Summit concerning the issue of ending sexual violence in conflict. The actress delivered the opening remarks at the summit and was accompanied on stage by foreign secretary William Hague.
Jolie confirmed that she had spoken to women in Bosnia, many of whom were too frightened to admit to their own families that they had been raped.
“This day is for her,” commented Jolie.
