“The best Irish rugby player that’s ever been.”
Somewhat jokey, but seriously touching, the Irish Rugby team have this week paid tribute to their legendary captain Paul O’Connell who was forced to bow out of their World Cup campaign due to a hamstring injury.
O’Connell lining out against France in this year’s World Cup.
Now, his teammates have come together to reflect on the man, the legend, the hero, in a fantastic video for Three.
From Rory Best to Tommy Bowe, Keith Earls to Simon Zebo, there’s something truly special about this.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Thanks Paulie.
