Is this a turning point for the Limerick side?
UL Huskies picked up their first win of the season this weekend after netting a 71-60 point win over Meteors.
The win may prove to breathe life into their bid for survival in the Women’s Premier League this season, and should be a major confidence boost for the side.
“This is the culmination of our senior players taking on more responsibility and our younger players stepping up also,” said coach Des O’Sullivan.

“Hopefully it can be a turning point for us.”
Elsewhere, 36 points from Jazmen Boone helped Maxol WIT Wildcats to end Pyrobel Killester’s home run in Clontarf.
The American put in an all-round performance as a 9-0 run helped the Waterford side come from behind with less than two minutes to play.
