Two students gave their college room the makeover of wildest dreams

These girls need to be hired for a makeover show ASAP.

Colleg accommodation is not known for glamour or luxury. With many houses hiding damp, leaky ceilings or dodgy floorboards, many of us while in university just shut up and make do with the gaff we're given with until the next semester. Considering the sky-high amounts of rent even glorified shoeboxes demand in Dublin, these days you're lucky to even get a room before your college course starts.

Two girls attending The University of Mississippi in the US, Abby Bozeman and Lindy Goodson moved into halls and were understandably disappointed at the lack of furnishings in their new home. The girls started off with a very bare room which can be seen as a very basic start, just two beds on their frames. But the girls and their families put their heads together and headed out shopping, getting furnishings and bargains on the cheap from their local shops. Their gold and white themed room looks more like the inside of a palace bedroom that college digs. That's a bedroom that Mia from The Princess Diaries would even be proud to call her own!
