Two Aer Lingus Air Hostesses Had a Close Encounter With The Irish Rugby Team

Talk about a tight scrum.

Megan Cassidy

Two Aer Lingus air hostesses found themselves in a very tight squeeze with the Irish Rugby team this week.

The lads were travelling from Dublin to Wales ahead of Friday’s World Cup opener against Canada when Lianne Stapleton and her colleague found themselves very much in the advantage line.

Lianne was on the ball about capturing the moment, and took an epic selfie with Johnny Sexton, Sean Cronin and Paddy Jackson in a Dublin airport lift just before they boarded.

However, they may never have boarded at all if Lianne got her wish.

She told our bros at SportsJOE: “We were hoping this lift got stuck?”
