Chef Claude Bosi uses the C word after a James Isherwood reveals his top-notch grub wasn’t so nom!

Criticism can often be hard to hear but it is always best to take it on the chin and try to better your efforts next time.

However this is clearly not the motto of Michelin star winning chef Claude Bosi who became extremely abusive when a run of the mill food blogger gave his restaurant an average review on travel website Trip Adviser.

James Isherwood, the author of the blog Dining with James, visited Claude Bosi’s London restaurant Hibiscus, which has two Michelin stars under its belt but he wasn’t too impressed.

Like most of us do after eating out, James took to Trip Adviser to give Mr Bosi’s eatery a very average three star rating and it is clear that this did not sit well with the talented chef who soon began to abuse the blogger on Twitter.

“Like the review on TA [Trip Adviser]. Really! Smile to my face and then stab me in the back! Nice one,” said Claude.

Perplexed, James, whose blog only has 12 posts, responded to the angry tweet: “Had to be honest. Ok, the starter wasn’t to my taste but it’s nothing personal.”

To which a furious Claude responded: “Nice way to gain respect with chefs! I think your a c*nt and this its personal sorry! [sic].”

The spat continued for hours with Claude spitting out more nasty gems including “Please buy yourself a pair of balls and play with them.”

Her.ie wonders why Mr Bosi became so angry over the opinion of a little blogger whose opinion would surely not have been noticed in the vast Twittersphere if he hadn’t made such a big fuss.

It seems to us that Claude is unbelievably insecure and is in need of a few angry management classes.

At the end of the day, James forked out money to Hibiscus and wasn’t satisfied, which we believe gives him every right to give his honest opinion.

Maybe Claude should work on his social skills, because that is really no way to treat a paying customer.
